Dental Service

Our Dental Department is available to patients of all ages and provides comprehensive, quality dental care. We have an exceptionally skilled and compassionate team who are committed to providing you and your family with the best possible care at affordable prices.

Services offered include examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and preventive dental care. Root canal therapies and crowns are also provided as a way to restore severely decayed or fractured teeth. Our dentists can also rebuild smiles by replacing missing teeth with bridgework, removable partial dentures, and full dentures.

We have an excellent pediatric dental program that builds a foundation for a lifetime of healthy and beautiful smiles! Our pediatric dental suites allow us to provide care to children in a relaxed and fun-filled atmosphere that promotes prevention of cavities and oral health education.


Providers

Julie Vavruska, DMD General Dentistry, Director, Dental Services

Although born in Illinois, Dr. Vavruska grew up in Martin County, Florida. An animal lover, she worked for many years as a veterinary technician before going to dental school. She enjoys outside activities like mountain biking. Other interests include painting, music and cheering her Florida Gators on to national championships.

She attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate studies in zoology and graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Thereafter she did a mini-residency in pediatric dentistry. At Thomas Langley she concentrates on dental care for children.

Margaret Mauricio, DDS General Dentistry

Born and raised in Tampa, FL, Dr. Mauricio naturally routes for the Tampa Bay Bucs. She is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Before coming to Thomas Langley she worked both in private practice and with group practices. She began her dental career as a dental hygienist. Her interests include tennis and racquet ball as well as playing with her Himalayan kittens.

Theresa Palomeque, DDS General Dentisty

Dr. Palomeque grew up in New Jersey where she graduated from high school. She also raised two sons in New Jersey. When Dr. Palomeque is away form the office, she enjoys traveling, bike riding and riding her Harley Davidson. She is originally from North Bergen, NJ where she practiced dentistry for 10 years before relocating to Florida.

Dr. Palomeque received her BA in biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and her DDS from New York University. She is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Britney Ishee, RDH Dental Hygiene

Britney was born in Georgia but after moving to Florida in 2005, she became a devoted Florida Gator fan. She and her husband, Daniel, have three children. Before coming to Thomas Langley she worked in Hapeville, GA. Her interests include scrap booking, quilting and cooking.

She trained at Middle Georgia Technical College where she earned her Dental Hygiene Associate of Applied Science degree.
