Everett A. Kelly, CEO

Mr. Everett Kelly was born in Foley, Alabama, but has been a resident of the State of Florida since he was three years old. A World War II Veteran, Mr. Kelly served in the US Navy as a hospital Corpsman, then returned to Florida to resume his education. In 1951 he received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Florida State University, and then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Florida in 1960.

As a pharmacist, Everett practiced in the areas of retail, hospital, and Department of Corrections pharmacy. He received many professional honors as a Pharmacist, and in 1978 he was named the Pharmacist of the Year for the state of Florida.

Mr. Kelly has a distinguished history as a public servant. He spent 22 years in the Florida House of Representatives, during which he served on myriad committees. He served as Speaker Pro Tem. for 1991-92. Mr. Kelly received the Hubert M. Humphrey Award for Outstanding Service in the Field of Legislative Endeavors in the United States. During his time in the Florida House of Representatives he was a prime sponsor of several bills that impacted the environment of central Florida. He has been actively involved in the restoration of the Harris Chain of Lakes. In addition, he was a prime sponsor of the Lake Apopka Restoration Council Bill, he introduced and passed the Lake Panasoffkee Restoration Council Bill, and obtained the first 10 million dollars to restore the lake.

Mr. Kelly has been the CEO of Thomas E. Langley Medical Center since May of 2004, during which time the center has doubled in size and services offered, and has opened a satellite clinic in Ocala. Although his position as CEO keeps him very busy, he still is extremely active in the community. He is a member of many local clubs including the Masons, Kiwanis, Lake County Shrine Club, the High Twelve Club, and the American Legion, to name a few. He served as Chairman of Drug Free Inc., Lake County, and was the President of the Ibeni Tera Corporation, a not-for-profit dedicated to cleaning up Florida's surface waters.

Mr. Kelly is married to the former Tara Willing of Fruitland Park, and has a son, daughter, stepdaughter and nine grandchildren. In his free time Everett enjoys fishing and writing. He is a published author of three books: The Atlatl (The Calusa Indians Encounters with Florida's Discoverer Ponce de Leon), Ida's Caleb (a historical novel of Central Florida in the 1870's), and a children's book about a turkey called Tiny Tom.

Aggie Lazaruis - Director of Operations

Aggie Lazaruis was born in Budapest, Hungary, under the Communist regime. Always interested in mathematics and physics, Ms. Lazaruis found herself enrolled in the Business Administration Program, School of Economics, at the University of Budapest. She graduated with a Masters Degree as a Mathematician Economist, which is equivalent to an MBA with and economics major.

Opportunities in communist Hungary were limited, so Aggie made the decision to leave her birthplace and come to the United States. She became an American citizen and spent her first 20 years in the US in the Los Angeles area, where she met her husband. She adopted his son and is now a grandmother of two.

Ms. Lazaruis has been in managerial accounting since 1988. She has experience in various industries including the manufacturing, retail, service, healthcare, and non-profit fields. Aggie loves traveling, modern art, architecture, and hiking. She is also an animal lover, and is happiest when she is surrounded by her family, friends, and pets.

Gary Costantino - Chief Financial Officer

As the chief financial officer (CFO) Gary Costantino provides managerial oversight for all financial functions. Following the guidance of the Board of Directors & The Chief Executive Officer, the CFO attempts to achieve long & short term fiscal goals while keeping with the corporate mission statement of Thomas E. Langley Medical Center to provide quality comprehensive health care to anyone needing the services. Gary Costantino became a member of the Langley team in 2003 & has had a long career of service in the community health arena. His career includes stints as Director of Finance with The Center's in Marion County & also The Brown Schools in Citrus County. Gary earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at Brooklyn College in New York City. He relocated to Florida in 1981.
